About
Eleasa grew up near Maiden, North Carolina. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and graduated with distinction in 2002 with a major in Communication Studies. Eleasa then attended Wake Forest University School of Law, where she was an editor for the Wake Forest Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Board. She earned her J.D. in 2005 and joined Robinson & Lawing, LLP later that year. Eleasa has been a partner with Robinson & Lawing since 2014, and she concentrates her practice in workers’ compensation (representing self-insured employers and insurance carriers) and employment law. She is a member of North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys, as well as the Forsyth County and North Carolina State Bar Associations. Eleasa is rated “AV Preeminent” by Martindale-Hubbell®.
Eleasa is the Immediate-Past Chair of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section. For the preceding four years, Eleasa served as an officer of the Workers’ Compensation Section. Prior to that she served three years as a Workers’ Compensation Section Council Member, and she was the co-editor of the Workers’ Compensation Section’s newsletter for two years. She also served as a co-planner for the Section’s Fall 2015 CLE program, The Basics of Navigating a Workers’ Compensation Claim.
