About
Bruce is a native of Watauga County, North Carolina and attended the University of the South in Sewanee, TN. After college, Bruce served in the U.S. Coast Guard for seven years before returning to North Carolina. Bruce attended law school at Wake Forest University where he was on the Gabrielli Family Law Moot Court Team and the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Team. Bruce earned his J.D. and joined Robinson & Lawing in 2009.
Bruce has been a partner since January 2016. He is a North Carolina Board Certified Specialist in family law and focuses his practice on complex equitable distribution and business litigation. Bruce has been appointed to serve on the North Carolina Bar Association’s Family Law Section Council. He also serves on the Bar Association’s Appellate Monitor Committee and the Forsyth County Family Law Advisory Committee. Bruce is a contributing writer to the North Carolina Bar Association’s Family Law Marital Claims Deskbook and speaks at CLE programs on issues relating to equitable distribution, alimony, child custody, and child support.
